QDeFuZZiner Deployment
QDeFuZZiner is a client-server desktop application, which can be deployed in two alternative ways:
a) downloadable desktop front-end application
In order to be able to use the desktop application, you need have stable internet connection, in order to be able to access remote database.
Additionally, you will probably need to ensure fixed static IP address, in order not to loose connection with remote database server.
b) desktop application deployed in remote virtual desktop environment (in cloud)
In this option, you will access the front-end application in virtual desktop environment, accessable via web browser.
Regardless of deployment mode, QDeFuZZiner application comes in two variants: a) full version for which you need registered user account, and b) free lite version, which does not require user login, but has limitations of importing maximum 10 000 rows per dataset and data is shared with other users using the lite version (no data privacy).
Download Front-end Desktop Application
QDeFuZZiner desktop front-end application is deployed as downloadable portable zipped folder and as installation setup file. Windows 64-bit executables can also run on Linux, via Wine emulator.
For lite version, you can download installation setup file here: https://matasoft.hr/qdefuzziner_lite_setup.exe
For full version, you can download installation setup file here: https://matasoft.hr/qdefuzziner_setup.exe
You can download portable application (contains both full and lite version executables), as a zipped folder here: https://matasoft.hr/qdefuzziner_portable.zip
Limitations of QDeFuZZiner Lite version
Comparing to the full commercial version, QDeFuZZiner Lite version has following limitations:
- Input datasets cannot exceed 10 000 rows
- Application connects to the database by using shared user account, so users share the same database space, with no privacy of imported and processed data
Limitations of local front-end application
QDeFuZZiner is a client-server application, which requires stable live connection between client front-end application and remote database server.
If you intend to use locally installed desktop application, you should ensure fixed static IP address, otherwise you risk to loose connection with the database server during the long-running query execution. That would typically happen with home roters dynamically changing IP address every 24 hours. IIf that happens, query will continue to run on database server, but your desktop QDeFuZZiner application will loose connection and you will not know the status of query execution.
If you cannot ensure fixed static IP address on your desktop, you might consider using QDeFuZZiner in cloud (see below).
Access QDeFuZZiner Front-End Application in Cloud
As an alternative to downloading and installing QDeFuZZiner front-end application on your local computer, application can be used in cloud, via web browser.
You can access virtual desktop environment containing QDeFuZZiner and QDeFuZZiner Lite apps in cloud here: QDeFuZZiner Cloud Environment
Alternatively, you can immediately start QDeFuZZiner Lite application in cloud, by this link: QDeFuZZiner Lite in Cloud
You can also start full version of QDeFuZZiner in clud, by this link: QDeFuZZiner in Cloud
For users purchasing commercial license, we are providing separate private virtual environment for each commercial user.
Using QDeFuZZiner in cloud environment might be preferable option for working with large datasets, because there is no danger of loosing connection to PostgreSQL database during long query execution.
Purchase QDeFuZZiner Commercial License
If you need to process files larger than 10 000 rows or you are concerned with data privacy, you can download the full commercial version and purchase commercial license key here: Purchase QDeFuZZiner License
Upon purchasing license, we will provide you user account for the full commercial application.
