The (Un)Perplexed Spready portal comes with bunch of demo spreadsheets with already defined AI formulas.

Anonymous sessions are currently limited to 4 hours, after which a session is terminated, but you can always open another session, without restrictions in number of sessions.

Free Tier — No License Required

Starting with version 1.3.0, (Un)Perplexed Spready includes a freemium tier that lets you use all AI-powered formulas without a license key — completely free of charge. You get 500 AI calculations per day, which is more than enough to evaluate the product on your own data.

When you run the application for the first time, you will see the About form. No license key is needed — simply close the dialog and start using the AI formulas right away. A status bar at the bottom of the main window shows your remaining daily calculations in real time (e.g., Free tier: 47/500 AI calculations today).

There are two ways to power the AI formulas:

=ASK_LOCAL family — use your own locally installed Ollama model (free, private, runs on your machine)
=ASK_REMOTE family — use our pre-configured AI model hosted on Matasoft's server (zero setup, just type the formula and press Enter)

A commercial license removes the daily quota limit entirely — licensed users get unlimited AI calculations with no daily restriction. After entering your license key (via Help → About → Enter License), the status bar switches to License: Active (unlimited), and Spready will offer to recalculate any cells that previously returned #LIMIT.
